A workshop seat

This is the live one: a workshop is booked by phone, so this is the rule that applies today.

• More than seven days before the first session. A full refund, no reason needed.
• Inside the last seven days. The seat moves to the next run of the same workshop, or a colleague takes your place. Say which and it is done.
• Once it has started. No refund. The room was held and the seat was not sold to somebody else.
• If we cancel, for any reason at all. A full refund or a seat on the next run, whichever you prefer. This one has no conditions on it.

A course or a script bought online

Fourteen days from the purchase. Write to hello@houseofparameters.com and say you want it refunded. There is no form and no questions, and the same person who wrote the course reads the mail.

Fourteen days is Paddle's own window, and Paddle is the seller of record for every online purchase here. Inside it a refund is a certainty rather than a favour, which is the reason the number is what it is: a longer promise on this page would be one we would have to argue for, one buyer at a time.

The money goes back through Paddle to the card or account that paid, usually within five to ten business days. Access to the course ends when the refund is issued, and any files you have already downloaded are no longer licensed for use.

A free script has nothing to refund. Delete it and you are done.

Nothing is on sale on this site yet, so this section starts applying the day the first course opens.

Two things worth saying plainly

Ask before a chargeback. A card dispute takes weeks, costs both sides a fee, and ends where an email would have ended in a day. If something is wrong, write first.

Repeatedly refunding the same thing can be declined. Fourteen days to decide is a real offer, and it is not a rental.
